I use questions as a means to an end, to reduce a sense of understanding, by building layers that result in multiplicity of ideas. Most of my thoughts are a result of a visual narrative that ‘pops’ into my head between cinematic to still; starting with ‘What if’ and ending with multiple perspectives.
Since an ongoing part of my work is performance, I extended my practice in 2013 and opened andralamusya (chaos), a home theater for visual artists who perform and experiment with that medium.
I got my first degree in painting, sculpture, and drawing from Ha'midrasha college of the arts in Israel and got my MFA in Photomedia from UW, Seattle.
